Areas We Serve in Northwest Indiana
Koi ponds, water features, landscaping and hardscaping across Lake County and Porter County.
We are based in Dyer, at the west end of Lake County, and work out from there across Northwest Indiana. The ground changes more over that short distance than most people expect. Flat, tight clay along the western edge of the county holds water and compacts hard. Low ground near the Little Calumet brings the water table up close to the surface. There are pockets of sandy beach-ridge soil that drain almost too well. Porter County rolls, which is a gift for a gravity-fed waterfall and a reason to think seriously about retaining walls. And nearer the lakeshore, wind off Lake Michigan gets a say in what survives the winter.
So the town pages below are not the same page 25 times. Each one covers what is actually different about building a pond, a patio or a planting scheme there, and leads with the work those local conditions call for.
